Terms & Conditions *

You are responsible for obtaining your own passport and travel/tourist visa. The passport must be valid for a minimum of 60 days following your trip return date. Contact the nearest Brazilian Consulate to obtain a tourist visa. The website for the Consulate General of Brazil in Toronto is: www.consbrastoronto.org. Reservations will be confirmed after the number of travelers & travel dates has been determined, and only after receipt of full payment.

Policy Regarding Cancellation

Every effort will be made to follow the printed itinerary as planned and scheduled prior to start of travel, however there may be occasions or circumstances beyond our control which will make it necessary to revise or deviate from those plans. Private functions can’t be guaranteed and are subject to the availability of the respective sponsors at the time of travel.  Additional activities may be included to enhance the tour.  If substitutions are required, every effort will be made to make them of equal value and no refund will be provided.  Any additional costs necessitated by substitutions or additional activities are the responsibility of the tour member.

Stonebridge Imports Ltd. ("Brazilian Geo Mine Tourism") reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure; to decline to accept or retain a person's reservation payment in its entirety or portion of the tour by refunding all payments before departure of the tour, or a proportionate balance of the unused portion of the tour, should such person's health, mental or physical condition, or general deportment impede the normal operation of the tour or impose on the rights and comfort of the other tour members, or simply by our own discretion.

Stonebridge Imports Ltd. (Brazilian Geo Mine Tourism) reserves the right to cancel the trip prior to departure by refunding all payments made prior to departure. 

Cancellation and Refund

Should an individual need to cancel their reservation for any reason (health or otherwise), Stonebridge Imports Ltd. (Brazil Geo Mine Tourism) must be notified in writing.  A phone call would also be appreciated at your earliest convenience.  Refunds apply as follows:

* Deposits are non-refundable, however if you cancel more than 90 days prior to tour departure date, all monies paid including deposit are transferable to any other tour taken within 12 months of the original tour start date, minus a per person transfer fee of Can$50.00.

* Cancellation less than 60 days prior to departure, all monies paid are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable. Name changes are not permitted. Insurable risks may be covered under trip cancellation insurance policies, if purchased. 

* Cancellation on or after day of departure: no refund.

Travel and Trip Cancellation Insurance

Stonebridge Imports Ltd. (Brazilian Geo Mine Tourism) cannot be responsible or liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal baggage and belongings, nor can they be liable for personal injury, accident, or illness. If you are forced to cancel your trip for some reason, travel insurance provides protection from these possibilities and may cover the non-refundable costs as indicated above under Cancelation and Refund.
